For the first time at The Wild Center, join many beloved Adirondack authors at this 40-year Long Lake tradition created by the esteemed Lorrie Hosley of Hoss's Country Corner fame. This year being held in memory of Lorrie, who passed away in 2023.
A sense of place and a connection to nature animate the work of authors Lorraine Duvall, Céline Keating, and Caperton Tissot. Join us as the authors discuss their books, give a brief reading, and discuss the respective challenges of focusing on a sense of place in fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. There will be an audience Q&A, moderated by James Gorman.
From its wilderness source, Lorraine Duvall tells historic and personal stories of the scenic and rugged Styles Brook Watershed. Registration is required for this Zoom meeting scheduled on April 15, 2024, at 7:00 pm.
